It has already happened in Switzerland ... It is raining chocolate!

Residents of the Swiss town of Olten, located between Zurich and Basel, woke up last Friday, with a light chocolate cover on the town, due to a malfunction in one of its factories.

The ventilation system in a local chocolate factory belonging to the famous "Lindt" company broke down, causing chimneys to empty cocoa dust that filled the streets and covered cars, trees and homes in the town.

Lundt said that a slight defect had already occurred in the ventilation system in the line of roasted "cocoa nibs" at its factory in Olten, which led to the spread of chocolate dust over large areas in the town.

And the winds that coincided with the technical holiday contributed to the spread of cocoa bean dust - which is an essential material in the manufacture of chocolate - around the vicinity of the factory, according to the American Fox News Network.

Olten's Twitter account published a picture of a car that was covered in a thin layer of chocolate powder, which sparked a great interaction with what happened on social media.

One Twitter user considered what happened as a reflection of the wealth that many consumer companies have made, especially in light of the spread of the Corona pandemic, and the almost complete closure of many cities that accompanied it.

Another wrote: "It is raining chocolate ... Does this only happen in dreams?"  Another commented, "Finally ... my dream has come true!"  For others, what happened seemed to be a matter that could not be put into words.

The Lindt company pledged to car owners whose cars had been covered with cocoa dust to pay for washing them, while the factory maintenance teams were able to fix the malfunction and continue production as usual.
