After he was surrounded by mystery, he finally revealed the meaning of the Russian symbol Z

The letter Z seen on dozens of Russian tanks has occupied many observers since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, leading to several theories about what it symbolizes.

However, Russian news anchor Vitaly Eliseev provided one explanation for the importance of the letter, which has become a prominent propaganda symbol for the military operation, according to the American magazine "Newsweek".

77 years old

During the news program Vremya (Time) on the Russian Channel One, Eliseev said that planes will participate in military parades on Victory Day, corresponding to May 7, and will fly in formations in the form of the letter Z or the number 7, one of which is inverted.

He explained that this represented 77 years since D-Day and described the message as "one of the symbols of the special military operation to defend Donbass," using the Kremlin-approved term for the war in Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that the letter Z has appeared on Russian military vehicles and even on billboards and merchandise since the start of the Russian military operation on February 24, and a number of politicians wore clothes and badges bearing the letter.
