Oklahoma authorities said that one person was killed and seven injured in a shooting that occurred early Sunday at an outdoor festival in the east of the state.
One witness described people fleeing in terror in search of a bulletproof berm.
Among those injured at the Memorial Day event near Taft Town, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said in a statement.
The agency said that witnesses said that Jadalah preceded the shooting after midnight, adding that no arrests had been made.
About 1,500 people attended the event in Taft, which usually has a population of only a few hundred.
The office did not provide any other details about the accident or the condition of the injured.
