The President of the Russian Republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, stated that the West is applying double standards regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and is showing its "true face."
Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel: “The West deprives the Palestinians of a peaceful life, and is not ashamed of contradictory statements.”
He continued: "For them (the West), the purposeful operation carried out by Russia is an occupation, but the seizure of Palestinian lands by the Jews and the long-term destruction of the population is justified and is a necessary measure."
He added: "These double standards reflect the true face of the West."
According to Kadyrov, “If heads of other countries treated religion with respect, as Russian President Vladimir Putin does, the conflict could have been avoided.”
The conflict between the Palestinian resistance movement and the Israeli forces reached an unprecedented escalation after the movement launched, at dawn last Saturday, Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood,” after thousands of rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at Israel, and its forces stormed Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
