Corona virus detected in frozen chicken wings

The local government in Shenzhen, China, said recently that it had discovered the presence of the new Corona virus on the roofs of chicken wings imported from Brazil.

And the authorities called on consumers to be careful when buying food imported from abroad, according to the "Bloomberg" network.

The source suggested that the positive sample for the virus was taken from the surface of the meat, while similar cases of infection were recorded on bags of imported seafood.

Frozen chicken wings were imported from an industrial facility named "Aurora Alemontos" in the state of "Santa Catarina", southern Brazil.

The statement indicated that the virus tests that were conducted for those who likely interacted with this product were all negative.

The authorities advised those who buy frozen and water products to be careful, in the context of preventing the emerging corona virus, which causes the Covid-19 epidemic.

Meanwhile, the authorities had revealed that three samples of imported seafood carry the emerging corona virus in Yantai, northern China.

Brazil is the second country in the world affected by the Coronavirus at the present time, after more than 3 million and 170 thousand people were infected with the virus, 104,264 of them died.

The Corona virus appeared in the Chinese city of Wuhan, late last year, and then turned into a pandemic that infected twenty million and 808 thousand people around the world.

Scientists believe that the Corona virus may have passed from animals to humans inside an animal market in Wuhan.
