Local governor: supplies stopped to parts of southeastern Ukraine.

Donetsk region governor Pavlo Kirilenko said that Ukrainian engineers hurried today to repair a gas pipeline damaged by Russian forces, stopping supplies to parts of southeastern Ukraine.

He added that the engineers closed the line to prevent gas leakage, explaining that the gas flow is now decreasing and will stop completely at a later time.

Kirilenko explained that gas will be cut off at every site in the distance between Vohlidar in the Donetsk region and the port of Berdyansk during the repair of the damage, noting that the distance between the two cities is 117 kilometers.

"We are working hard to solve this problem as soon as possible," he added.
