Russia: We Warn Ukraine's Neighboring Countries Against Receiving Fighter Planes for Kiev

Russian Defense: Ukraine is developing biological weapons in cooperation with the Pentagon.

Today, Sunday, Russia warned Ukraine's neighboring countries against receiving fighter planes to Kiev, while Sputnik quoted the Russian Defense Ministry announcing the disruption of the Ukrainian army's warplanes at Vinnytsia Airport using "high-precision" weapons.

"We shot down 3 Ukrainian fighters and 3 drones," the Russian Defense Ministry said, noting that Ukraine is developing biological weapons in cooperation with the Pentagon.

Earlier in the day, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that eight Russian missiles had hit the city of Vinnytsia, which he described as "far from the front line".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian missiles targeted and completely destroyed the Vinnytsya airport, southwest of Kyiv. In a speech, Zelensky reiterated his demand for the imposition of an air embargo on Ukraine.

"Eight missiles targeted the civil airport of Vinnytsia, the Russian strike completely destroyed the airport. They continue to target civilian infrastructure... We repeat every day, impose a no-fly zone on Ukraine, close the airspace to Russian missiles and fighters and all terrorist acts, make the skies of Ukraine free of missiles," Zelensky said.

Meanwhile, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday that any country that allows the Ukrainian air force to use its airports to launch attacks on Russia can be considered as having entered the conflict, Interfax news agency reported.

"The use of the airport networks of these countries as a base for Ukrainian military aircraft, and their subsequent use against the armed forces," he added Russian Federation, it may be seen as the participation of these countries in an armed conflict."

Prior to that, the Kremlin said in a statement that Russian President Vladimir Putin had told his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a phone call on Sunday that Russia would not stop its military operation unless Ukraine stopped fighting and Moscow's demands were met.

In a statement, the Kremlin added that Putin said the operation was proceeding according to the plan and timetable set by Moscow.

Sirens sounded several times in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, today, Sunday, as the Russian military operation in Ukraine entered its eleventh day, as indications increased that the West believed that Kyiv would eventually fall into the hands of Russian forces.

The correspondent of "Al-Arabiya" and "Al-Hadath" stated that Kyiv is completely besieged from all sides, pointing out that there are Russian attempts to enter the Ukrainian capital from the northern region, amid violent Russian bombing of Arbin on the outskirts of Kyiv, while the evacuations are continuing.

Late last month, Russia launched a military operation targeting Ukrainian cities and military bases, after weeks of tension and the Russian military build-up on the border between the two countries.
