A planned visit by the British Prime Minister to the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
An informed source told "Reuters", today, Wednesday, that the UAE is still committed to the OPEC + agreement.
The source made the statement ahead of a planned visit later in the day by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, as part of efforts to secure more oil flows and increase pressure on Russia, which launched a war against Ukraine.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said on Tuesday that oil demand in 2022 is facing challenges from the Russian attack on Ukraine and rising inflation amid rising crude prices, which increases the possibility of lowering its forecast for strong demand this year.
