The Corona virus has swept through the Swiss low-cost airline "EasyJet", causing the cancellation of hundreds of flights and causing confusion at a number of airports.
And the British "Sky News" network reported, on Monday, that more than 200 easyJet flights were canceled over the weekend, leaving many travelers stranded at airports.
And it came to a "travel chaos" at some British airports.
EasyJet attributed the cancellation of flights to the significant shortage of its employees, due to the infection of a number of them with the Corona virus that causes “Covid-19”.
It said that at least 222 flights have been canceled since Friday, noting that it would face a staff shortage by preparing a "list of reserve personnel."
A company spokesman stated that the Corona virus had spread among its employees in a way that exceeded the normal situation.
The spokesman did not mention the number of injured, but it appears to be so large that about 222 flights were canceled.
