Honeywell International is looking to invest $200 million in Egypt

She stressed that Egypt is qualified to become a center linking Europe with the Middle East in green fuel projects.

The head of Honey Well International for North Africa, Khaled Hashem, said that the company seeks to invest about $200 million in petrochemicals and the production of green fuels for aircraft catering in Egypt, in addition to projects to install RTG devices to monitor warehouses in partnership with the Petroleum Authority and manufacture equipment for the project in Egypt. This saves between 20-30% of the manufacturing cost.

This came during Hashem's talks with the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Eng. Tarek El Molla.

Hashem added that Egypt is qualified "to become a pivotal center linking Europe with the Middle East, especially in green fuel projects to refuel ships and produce hydrogen and ammonia."

He stressed that "Honeywell" appreciates the efficiency and commitment of Egyptian engineers and seeks to establish a center to follow up projects and provide engineering consultancy in Egypt.
