In an area far from Ukraine, where fighting has been raging for nearly 4 months, a Russian military "skirmish" with another European country took place on Friday.
Denmark said that a Russian warship had violated its territorial waters in the northern Baltic Sea, Reuters reported.
The Danish army stated that the Russian warship entered its territorial waters without permission at 00:30 GMT Friday morning, and repeated the breach several hours later.
And the Russian warship left, after pieces of the Danish navy moved to the place and made a "communication" with it via navigational radio waves.
Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod said in a tweet via "Twitter", that what happened was "an irresponsible and unacceptable Russian provocation."
And he added in a statement: "The Russian ambassador was informed, in very clear words, that this type of behavior is totally unacceptable. We will not accept this type of Russian provocation."
There has not yet been a comment from the Russian side regarding this incident.
