Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt: The bombing displaced 1.2 million people and there is no place to bury the bodies

Diab Al-Louh's statements came in a press conference held in Cairo on Sunday, to reveal developments in the Israeli attacks and the situation in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt, Diab Al-Louh, revealed that the Israeli occupation bombing caused the destruction of more than 30,000 housing units, the displacement of more than 1.2 million citizens, and the destruction of more than 14 hospitals.

He said during a press conference held in Cairo, today, Sunday, to reveal developments in the Israeli attacks, that the situation in the Gaza Strip is very difficult, and we have no room to bury the bodies of the dead, warning Israel of the consequences of a ground incursion into the Strip or committing more massacres.

The Palestinian ambassador called for the rapid and urgent opening of humanitarian corridors to Gaza to provide the Strip with food and medical supplies and to ensure the entry of aid.

In a related context, Palestinian sources announced that the number of martyrs as a result of the Israeli attacks reached 2,384 martyrs, and about 10,150 were wounded.

For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that more than two million citizens in the Gaza Strip face the risk of running out of water, in a way that has become threatening to their lives.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that water has become a matter of life and death, and it has become necessary for fuel to be delivered to Gaza to provide water for two million people, noting that the Strip is running out of clean water after the water station and public water networks stopped working.
