Smaida stressed, in a statement, the importance of the strong statements made by the leaders of the armed forces during the opening of the July 3 base, which emphasized the strength of the Egyptian army and its readiness to defend Egypt's rights and security at any time, and also sends a deterrent and decisive message to the enemies of the country and to those who beg themselves to attack On the rights of the Egyptian state and tampering with the capabilities of this country.

He added that the July 3 base also represents a new addition to the Egyptian naval bases system, as part of the comprehensive development plan for the navy, as this base is the latest naval base that was inaugurated during the recent years during the era of President Sisi, which confirms the president's keenness to arm the Egyptian army with the latest and largest weapons. Captain Smaida listed the advantages of the new base, explaining that it faces any challenges and risks that may exist in the region, as well as combating smuggling and illegal immigration, in addition to the strategic and logistical importance of supporting the Egyptian armed forces in the Red and Mediterranean Bahrain.
