Tigray Front: The battles will not stop until the entire region is liberated from the Ethiopian forces

Tigray Front: We will cooperate with international organizations to deliver relief to more than two million displaced people

Today, Saturday, the Tigray Front announced that the battles will not stop before the liberation of all of the Tigray region from the Ethiopian forces and their militias, calling for an international investigation into the massacres committed by the Ethiopian forces in Tigray.

The Tigray Front also said that it will cooperate with international organizations to deliver relief to more than two million displaced people.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations for Political Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo, indicated that the international organization is urging the Tigray Defense Forces to agree to an immediate and complete cease-fire previously announced by the Ethiopian government in the region.

The United Nations had warned that more than four hundred thousand people in the Tigray region are currently suffering from starvation.

It is estimated that another 1.8 million people are on the brink of starvation, as well as 33,000 children suffering from acute malnutrition.

It also warned of the possibility of more clashes in the region, despite the announcement of a ceasefire by the government.

The Tigray People's Liberation Front described the government's ceasefire announcement as a joke.

There were reports of continuing clashes in some areas with increasing international pressure on all parties.

Thousands of people have been killed in the conflict, and international pressure on Ethiopia escalated again last week after a military airstrike on a crowded market in Tigray killed more than 60 people.

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people are now facing famine conditions as eyewitnesses confirm that fighters have looted crops and other food sources.
